Gently rolling hills and vast fields of prairie grass attract pheasants and pheasant hunters alike. South Dakota's native habitat is a pheasant hunters dream and produces fantastic numbers of ring-neck pheasants as well as sharp-tail grouse and Hungarian partridge.

This is pheasant hunting at its very finest. Expert pheasant hunting guides accompanied by professionally trained hunting dogs provide tremendous "hunt" success ratios.

Thunderstik Lodge has been creating pheasant hunting traditions for over twenty years. In addition, the Missouri River provides excellent walleye fishing opportunities and some limited waterfowl hunting. Waterfowl hunting licenses are based on a draw system and must be applied for in early June, each year. Or you can test your bragging rights on our ten station sporting clays course overlooking the Missouri River.
